Ananda Marga, organizationally known as Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha (AMPS), meaning the samgha (organization) for the propagation of the marga (path) of ananda (bliss), is a social and spiritual movement[1] founded in Jamalpur, Bihar, India in 1955 by Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (1921–1990).

Its good to see his sights are pointing east. I believe the east holds a lot of the answers that west has asked. Not so much in that their religions are more brilliant, or "right". Moreso, I believe that at the core of the religion there is a certain self-respect/self-realization process that is not really attempted by western religion. However, It may just be that western perversions have found their way to the heart of spirituality, condemning it to consumerism.
